To Museum Guest House

From the main railway station Keleti p.u.: Take the red metro line (M2) in direction to Déli p.u. and get off at the 2nd stop 'Astoria'. Take the exit to the Károly Körút and find us at the No. 10, on the 1st floor.

From Déli p.u. railway station: Take the red metro line (M2) and get off at 'Astoria'. Then proceed as indicated above.

From Nyugati p.u. railway station: Take the blue metro line (M3) in direction to 'Köbánya-Kispest' and get off at 'Deák F. tér'. Then take the left exit to the 'Károly Körút' and walk along it down to the number 10.

From the International Bus Station 'Népliget': Take the blue metro line (M3) in direction to 'Újpest-Központ' and get off at 'Kálvin tér'. Then take the exit to the 'Múzeum Körút' and walk along it up to Astoria metro station. After Astoria the 'Múzeum körút' changes name to 'Károly körút'. Find the number 10. We are on the 1st floor.

From the Ferihegy Airport: By taxi: This is the best way if you are 2, 3 or 4 persons. (aprox. 17 euros to the hostel, plus a customary 10% tip. Check with the driver the aprox. cost before you board the taxi!)

By public transportation: you need to buy 2 tickets (one for the bus and one for the metro) from the ticket's machine at the bus stop outside the exit. Take the bus up to the last stop (Köbánya-Kispest) -which is also the starting station of the blue metro line (M3). Then punch the 2nd ticket before boarding the metro. Get off at 'Kálvin tér' and take the exit to the 'Múzeum körút', walk along it up to 'Astoria' metro station.From Astoria the Múzeum körút(avenue) changes name to Károly körút. Find the number 10 and ring the bell number 1. We are on the 1st floor.

By Airport Minibus: They have a desk right outside the exit from the customs. The fee is aprox. 10 euros per passanger up to the hostel.

Aquarium Youth Hostel

From 'Keleti' railway station: Exit the railway station by the main front gate -with the big clock behind the wide stairs. Then walk forward in direction to the street to the right side of the railway station -to the right of the traffic light where the McDonalds and Burger King restaurants are located. That is Bethlen Gabor utca. Look for the door number 8 after the first corner with Garay utca and ring the bell 19. We will welcome you on the 3rd floor.

From 'Ferihegy' airport: Take the local bus that starts at the airport and get off at the last stop, which is the starting station of the blue metro line called 'Kobanya-Kispest'. Take the metro and and get off at 'Deak ter' and change to the red metro line (number 2) in direction to 'Ors Vezer tere' and get off at 'Keleti' railway station. Then follow the instructions given above.

From international bus station 'Nepliget': Take the metro (blue line) in direction 'Ujpest Kozpont' and get off at 'Deak F. Ter' and change metro line to red metro in direction to 'Ors Vezer Tere' and get off at 'Keleti' station and follow the indications given above. From 'Deli' railway station: Take the metro (red line) in direction to 'Ors Vezer tere' and get off at 'Keleti' station and follow the indications given above.

From 'Nyugati' railway station: Take trolley bus number 73 at Podmanizky utca (in front of the post office) and get off at the last stop called Bethlen Gabor utca. The hostel is just in front at number 8.

NOTES: In Budapest is necessary to punch a new ticket every time you change to a different metro line, bus or tram. Unlike other countries, in Budapest a ticket is valid for 30 minutes but just for that particular metro line, bus or tram. Be watchfull as there is a lot of controllers around!
